About the Authors: Randy McKean was baptized as a disciple of Jesus in 1973 at the University of Florida. He graduated with honors in English, Religion, and Education. Kay Summers McKean grew up in Miami, Florida, and was baptized as a disciple of Jesus in 1974. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1975 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Randy and Kay have been in the full-time ministry for 36 years in various places such as Columbia, South Carolina; Tokyo, Japan; Munich, Germany; Paris, France; and Boston, Massachusetts. They are currently serving in the Northern Virginia Church of Christ (Northern Virginia Church of Christ), where Randy serves as an elder and lead evangelist, and Kay as the women's ministry leader.
