A Letter from God

I have always loved you But, do you still love Me?

I remember everything That you have done for Me How you followed Me in good times and in bad In joy and in sorrow

Do you still remember our journey? Do you still remember My love for you?

Time passed. And you began to change You were no longer the same person What fault did you find in Me That made you turn away from Me? .

I have blessed you And I still bless you to this day I bless your work And everything you do

I protect you from danger wherever you go I watch over you while you sleep I hear all your prayers, your cries, and your tears I am with you and never leave you alone

Every day, I wait for you to come to Me But, you are too busy with yourself Your work, your hobbies, your ambitions, and all your desires You create your own gods You are no longer in awe of Me

You keep on sinning Doing evil things that I cannot bear You hurt My heart .

You reject and forsake Me, the true refuge And build your own tower of refuge That cannot save you That can only destroy you

Has any nation ever exchanged its God? For something that is really not a god Yet you have exchanged Me For other useless gods .

I thought, you would call Me, “Father” And would not turn away from Me But, like a wife who is unfaithful to her husband So you have been unfaithful to Me .

Even so, I still call you back Return to Me and I will restore you .

I will be your Father and you will be My child I will be your Husband and you will be my wife .

Will you return to Me? .
