About Us
Kids Kingdom Ministry or Children’s Kingdom, commonly called KKK, is a ministry for children from 1.5 years old (baby class) through 6th grade elementary school (Pre-teens). This ministry was formed to help children know God and grow in the character traits found in the Bible.
The main vision of Kids Kingdom Ministry is to help children know and honor God, know and honor themselves, and know and honor the people around them.
Right now, with the rapid development of technology, children are already kept busy with various apps, games, videos and films that are on their gadgets. High academic demands, an individualistic lifestyle, and moral values that are declining day by day are challenges for each of us as we seek to raise children in the fear of the Lord.
If we do not introduce them to God as early as possible, they can grow into people who do not fear God. And when they are adults, it will be harder to apply a new mindset or way of thinking. Therefore, knowing God must begin at an early age. This is the best time to introduce them to the reality that God is there!
Children need to learn about character, learn about who their God is, and how they can apply the stories of God’s Word not only as knowledge, but in their lives. In this way, children can have a strong foundation, and this will become very important capital in their journey of growing into adulthood. So they can become people who fear the Lord.
Because of this need, the KKK ministry was formed. Let’s get to know this super fun ministry!
Activity
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:26
Activities in KKK take place in an interactive and practical way. In KKK, children will play games, sing praises, make crafts (handicrafts), and listen to Bible stories (sharing God’s Word). Through these activities, children are taught to interact with one another and with the KKK teachers. They are taught morals and the foundations of God’s Word in a fun.
way. There are three aspects that play the most important role in KKK. They are the KKK teachers, children their own age, and also parents. Children learn by imitation. In KKK class, they will follow and imitate what the KKK teachers do. They also learn and imitate from the other children. And the largest portion is the family, where they spend most of their time. Parents play a very important role. They will imitate what their parents do and how their parents act at home.
Therefore, parents’ involvement and support are very important in planting God’s values in them. Parents can discuss again and review what has been learned in class when they are together with them at home. In this way, it will help children better understand what is taught in KKK class.
